Our Passion for Sewing + Teaching
At Bloom + Gather Studio, we believe sewing is an incredible and useful life skill. But more than just a skill—it's a form of expression + creativity. Our sewing education programs are designed to inspire, empower + expand the horizons of all aspiring seamstresses.
With our proprietary curriculum and an encouraging spirit, our expert instructors guide you to competence at each level, step-by-step. Whether it’s mastering the basics or taking your skill to the next level. We offer a range of classes to cater to your unique needs and dreams. It is important to note that, just like we hand-select our curriculum, we hand-select our students. Seats in the studio are very limited and students must apply and interview to the studio to be accepted. Studio Classes
Discover our sewing classes tailored to diverse skill levels and sewing disciplines. From no experience to specific sectors within the textile world, we equip you with the skills to create with confidence. Students will take home several finished projects. Each class comes with consulting services for one solo project after the class is finished. Fill out an Expression of Interest Form here today to get started on your sewing journey!
Beginning Class
Start here, no experience necessary! Great for all ages 10 and above. Students will learn the basics of fabrics, machine anatomy, basic machine sewing + basic pattern use. They will complete three beautiful projects in class that help teach and reinforce basic sewing skill sets. Students will be able to replicate project and skill-sets learned in class in a surprising range of applications. Class tuition includes basic sewing notions required for the class.
Intermediate Class
For students with basic sewing experience ready for the next level of pattern use + more complex concepts. This is where the competency for creativity + free-style starts to blossom.
Mending Class
Approved students who feel comfortable on the machine + with sewing basics will enjoy a whole series on practical mending techniques. Gently restore your favorite clothes + save a lot of money! Discussions on starting a mending business are discussed.
Advanced Class
Students who have completed the Beginning + Intermediate classes (or who have tested out with an instructor) can enjoy some of the true art + creativity of complex garment sewing. Friends + family will be so impressed with how high-end these projects are!
Beginning Quilting
Learn the basics of quilting + make a priceless heirloom step-by-step. Students will leave with quilting skills to make a broad range of blocks and styles from principles learned in this class.
Pop-up Classes
From sewing to quilting to knitting and everything in between! We offer a customized learning experience for your group. While our studio is located in Falcon, Colorado where we host in-person classes, we also travel to do pop-up classes in the Denver + Colorado Springs area. Sewing + Quilting Consulting Services

Private sewing lessons (remote)
Sewing lessons like music lessons! This video-call option is available to anyone, anywhere. Weekly and bi-weekly 45 minute sessions available.
